Apple A Day Boulevardier

  • 2 oz of Doc Porter’s Apple Brandy

  • 0.5 oz of Campari

  • 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth

Mix all ingredients, stir, and garnish with orange rind.

Doc’s Present

  • 2 oz Vodka

  • 2 oz Cranberry Juice

  • 3 oz Ginger Ale

  • 1 oz Rosemary Ginger Syrup

  • 1 oz Lime Juice

In a Collins glass, pour all ingredients over ice. Stir and garnish with a lime wedge and sprig of rosemary.

Rosemary Ginger Syrup Instructions:

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1/2 cup sliced ginger

  • 1/2 cup rosemary

Bring water to a boil. Add ginger and rosemary. Simmer 10 minutes. Add sugar. Simmer 10 minutes. Let cool

Spiced & Spiked Apple Cider

  • 4 oz Fresh Apple Cider

  • 2 oz Bourbon

  • 1 oz Lemon Juice

  • 1 oz Spiced Syrup

In a Collins glass, pour all ingredients over ice. Stir and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Spiced Simple Syrup Instructions:

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 cups brown sugar

  • 2 Cinnamon sticks

  • 2 Star Anise

  • 1/2 tbsp Cloves

  • 1/4 cup sliced ginger

Bring water to a boil. Add cinnamon, ginger, star anise, cloves. Simmer 10 minutes. Add brown sugar. Simmer 10 minutes. Let cool.

KOMHOOCHA LEMONADE

  • 1-1/2 oz Doc Porter’s Komhoocha

  • 1 oz Doc Porter’s Vodka

  • 1 oz Lemon Juice

  • 1 oz Strawberry Syrup

  • 1-1/2 oz Water

  • Bitterless Marriage Bitters by Crude


In a Collins glass, add Komhoocha, Vodka, lemon juice, strawberry syrup and water. Top with ice and stir.

To make the strawberry syrup, boil 2 cups of water and sugar. Add 1 cup of fresh chopped strawberries. Simmer for 30 minutes. Cool, strain and refrigerate.



Doc’s Mint Julep

  • 2 oz  Doc Porter’s Bourbon

  • ½ oz Simple Syrup (instructions below)

  • 1 handful of Mint

  • 3 drops of Citrus Bitters (or 1 dash)

  • Splash Soda Water

  • Crushed Ice

Make simple syrup first and allow it to cool. Add Doc’s Bourbon, simple syrup over crushed ice in a copper cup. Top with soda water and dash the bitters. Garnish with mint after giving it a good slap.

Pro Tips: Crush ice using a rolling pin or rubber mallet. If your horse doesn’t win, place or show…make another julep and keep sipping until you feel like a winner.

How to make Simple Syrup: Bring 16 oz of water to a boil.  Add 16 oz of sugar to hot water and stir.  Allow to chill.

4th Ward Garden Punch

  • 1 bottle Doc Porter’s Vodka

  • 2 Cups Lemonade

  • 2 Cups Sprite

  • 2 Cups Mint & Orange Simple Syrup

  • 4 Cups Soda Water

Mix all ingredients in a punch bowl and serve. Garnish with Orange, Mint, Lime and serve over ice.

Mint & Orange Simple Syrup: Boil equal parts sugar and water. Once sugar is dissolved, add mint and orange zest. Remove from heat and steep for one hour. Strain and chill.

Spring Spritz

  • 1 ½ oz Doc Porter’s Gin

  • 3 oz Sparkling Water

  • 2 oz Prosecco

  • 2-3 dashes of your favorite bitters. We like Orange Bitters for this one.

Build in glass and stir. Easy as that!

ST. PATTY’S DAY COCKTAIL

  • 1 ½ oz Doc Porter’s Gin

  • 1 ½ oz Green Mint Syrup (ingredients and instructions below)

    • 2 Bunches Mint

    • 12 oz Sugar

    • 24 oz Water

  • ¾ oz Fresh Lime

  • 1 Egg White


    To make Green Mint Syrup:
    De-stem two large bunches of mint.  Bring 1 quart of water to a boil and have a ice-water bath ready. Submerge mint leaves into boiling water for 10-15 seconds. Remove mint from boiling water and immediately submerge into ice-water bath for 30 seconds. Combine mint, sugar and water into blender and blend until there is a smooth texture.  Strain through fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Keep chilled in airtight container for up to one week.

    Mix Cocktail:

    Add all ingredients to mixing tin without ice.  Shake vigorously until froth has formed. Add ice and shake until chilled.  Strain into glass using a Hawthorne strainer.

NEW YEAR’S Resolution Cocktail

  • 1 oz Doc Porter’s Vodka

  • ½ oz Local Honey

  • ¾ oz Fresh Local Lemon

  • Top with Lenny Boy Ginger Kombucha

Combine all ingredients into mixing glass (minus Kombucha) and stir. Strain over fresh ice and top with Lenny Boy Ginger Kombucha.

Doc’s Spiked Holiday Nog

  • 4 oz Doc Porter’s Bourbon

  • 4 Egg Whites

  • 4 Egg Yolks

  • ⅔ cup Powdered Sugar + 1 tbsp

  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract

  • 8 oz Heavy Cream

  • 16 oz Whole Milk

  • ½ tsp Powdered Cinnamon


In a bowl, using a mixer, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in color. Gradually add the 2/3 cup sugar and continue to beat until it is completely dissolved. Add the milk, cream, bourbon and cinnamon and stir to combine.

Place the egg whites in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat to soft peaks. With the mixer still running, gradually add the 1 tablespoon of sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.

Whisk the egg whites into the mixture. Chill and serve for the Happiest of Holidays.

Thanksgiving family Punch

  • 12 oz Doc Porter’s Rye

  • 6 oz Cranberry/ Sage Syrup (ingredients below)

  • 4 oz Ginger Beer

  • 4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

Cranberry/Sage Simple Syrup

  • 12 oz Cranberries

  • 4 oz Sage

  • 16 oz Water

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

Make simple syrup: Bring 16 oz water to a boil. Add cranberries and sugar to boiling water. Stir until sugar dissolves and allow to simmer for additional 10 minutes.  Add sage and simmer for another 10 min. Strain and allow to cool before serving.

Strain simple syrup into bowl. Add ice and ginger beer. Add Doc Porter’s Rye. Squeeze fresh lemon juice into punch. Stir. Top with cranberries and sage. Serve.


BOURBON

dOC'S OLD FASHIONED

  • 2 oz Doc Porter's Single Barrel Bourbon

  • 4 Dashes Bitters (we like Crude Orange & Fig Bitters "Sycophant")

  • 2" Orange Zest

  • 1 Brown Sugar Cube

  • Optional Cherry Garnish

In a heavy rocks glass, place a brown sugar cube on top of an orange zest. Dash with bitters. Muddle the cube into the orange zest. Add Doc Porter's Bourbon and top with ice. Stir for 2 minutes. Garnish with cherry (optional).

 

Boulevardier

  • 2 oz Doc Porter's Bourbon

  • 3/4 oz Amaro

  • 3/4 oz Sweet Red Vermouth

  • Orange Slice

Combine Doc Porter's Bourbon, amaro, & vermouth into shaker. Shake with ice & strain into martini glass. Garnish with orange slice.

Doc's holiday punch

  • Infuse Doc Porter's vodka with lemons, limes, oranges and cinnamon sticks for 4 hours

  • Top with equal parts cranberry juice, ginger ale, club soda

  • Add ice as desired

5,192 Miles from Moscow Mule

  • 2 oz Doc Porter's Vodka

  • 4 oz Lenny Boy Good Ol' Ginger Kombucha (or your favorite Ginger Beer)

  • 1/2 oz lime juice

Fill copper mule mug with ice. Combine vodka, Ginger Kimbucha, lime joice. Stir & garnish with lime wedge.

 

Mint & Bubbly

  • 2 oz Doc Porter's Vodka

  • 3/4 oz lime juice

  • .5 oz simple syrup

  • 6 fresh mint leaves

  • 2 cucumber slices

  • 1 oz Prosecco

Muddle mint & cucumber. Add vodka, lime juice & simple syrup. Shake, pour into highball glass over ice. Top with Prosecco.

 

Raspberry Lemonade

  • 1.5 oz Doc Porter's Vodka

  • 4 oz lemonade

  • 5 fresh raspberries

  • lemon wedge

In Collins glass, muddle raspberries & top with ice. Add vodka & lemonade. Stir & garnish with lemon wedge.

 


GIN

bee's knees

  • 2 oz Doc Porter's Gin

  • 3/4 oz lemon juice

  • 3/4 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey to water)

  • lemon twist

Combine gin, lemon juice, honey syrup into shaker. Shake with ice & strain into martini glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

 

Salty Doc

  • 1.5 oz Doc Porter's Gin

  • 3 oz grapefruit juice

  • 1/2 oz lime juice

  • course salt

Salt rim of highball glass. Combine gin, grapefruit juice, lime juice in glass over ice & stir.

 

Cucumber G&T

  • 2 oz Doc Porter's Gin

  • 4 oz of your favorite tonic water

  • Cucumber slice (English or mini)

Combine gin & tonic water in glass over ice. Stir & garnish with fresh cucumber slice.
